Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring AHA-certified BLS and ACLS, with night shift hours and every other weekend requirement.

Details

  • Emergency Department unit in a hospital setting
  • Night shift hours: 19:15–06:45
  • 36–48 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays required when they fall on a regularly scheduled shift
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience
  • Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS
  • Preferred certifications: PALS (AHA), TNCC (renewed every 4 years), NIH Stroke Scale certification, CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (8-hour course, renewed every 2 years)
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Two professional references required
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Local candidates will be considered; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
  • COVID vaccination is not required
