Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn/Wound Unit (Med/Surg) position requiring at least 2 years of med/surg experience and Epic proficiency on a rotating shift schedule.

Details

  • Burn/Wound Unit within a med/surg hospital setting
  • Rotating 7A/7P shift schedule
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required as needed
  • Floating is rare but may occur to another med/surg floor when needed

Requirements

  • Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience required
  • Comfort and experience working with wounds required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to burn and wound patients in a med/surg environment
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
