Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn/Wound Unit (Med/Surg) position requiring at least 2 years of med/surg experience and Epic proficiency on a rotating shift schedule.
Details
- Burn/Wound Unit within a med/surg hospital setting
- Rotating 7A/7P shift schedule
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- Floating is rare but may occur to another med/surg floor when needed
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience required
- Comfort and experience working with wounds required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration

- Provide nursing care to burn and wound patients in a med/surg environment
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
