Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a Long Term Care travel assignment in Temple, TX.

Details

Long term care (LTC) / skilled nursing facility setting
Focuses on swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders in a resident population
Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
No weekend or on-call requirements
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Texas SLP license required (license required if applicable)
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
Long term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred

Additional Information

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting swallowing, cognition, and communication
Lead and guide the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and strategies
Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
