Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience for a 13-week assignment serving Medford, OR and surrounding areas.
Details
- Home health setting serving Medford, OR and surrounding areas
- Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (8:00–16:30); 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated
- Caseload of up to 6 patients per day with a standard productivity expectation of 30 points
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No floating between like units required
- Charting via Epic and OASIS; Epic experience required, OASIS experience required
- Reliable personal transportation required; occasional patient visits may be up to 50+ miles away
- Any color scrubs permitted
- Free parking available
Requirements
- Current, active OT license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health OT experience required
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- BLS certification required
- OASIS experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Reliable personal transportation required
- COVID-19 primary series vaccination plus one booster required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate
- RTO should be disclosed at the time of submission; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Mileage reimbursement provided at the IRS standard rate
- Facility scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive and windshield time
