Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a surgical unit position requiring an IL RN license, Epic EMR experience, and Level 1 Trauma background.

Details

Surgical unit (OR) position in a hospital setting
Full-time schedule of 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
40 hours per week

Requirements

Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience
Epic EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
ASN required; BSN preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, and modifies them based on ongoing evaluation
Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support continuity of care across the healthcare team
Upholds patient and staff safety standards by identifying and addressing potential hazards
RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
Candidates who have been on assignment at a Carle Health location for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any Carle Health facility
