Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring proficiency in Cath/EP procedures and active FL or compact RN license, with on-call responsibilities including weekend coverage.
Details
- Located in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab setting with 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures performed include cardiac cath (diagnostic and PCI), Watchman/LAAO, EP studies/ablation, and device implants
- Call requirements of 8–12 call shifts per month, including 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- EMR system: Meditech
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
- Proficiency in Cath/EP lab procedures required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required
Additional Information
- Surgical scrubs are provided
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
