Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Asheville, NC.

Details

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 80 beds, serving as a regional referral center in Asheville, NC
Occupational Therapy department serving a diverse patient population including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and amputation cases
Day shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
13-week contract

Requirements

Active OT license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role
US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Facility offers a full continuum of post-acute rehabilitative care including physical, occupational, and speech therapies as well as specialty rehabilitation programs
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
