Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Radiology/Cardiology Manager position requiring supervisor experience, CA licensure, and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology/cardiology management role
• Evening shift schedule with variable start times between 13:00–15:00, ending between 21:30–23:30 (5x8-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling permitted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
• Minimum 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in radiology/cardiology within the past 2 years required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass a pass/fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
• At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from within the past year from a relevant unit required
• A second professional reference from within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator accepted)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No RTO (time off) requests will be honored within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO must be declared upfront and cannot be changed after submission
• Candidates who have previously been employed by this health system must receive facility approval prior to starting the assignment
• Candidates must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers should inquire with their recruiter regarding eligibility for this position
