Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center in Oregon, requiring NRP certification and at least 1 year of LDRP experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery (LDRP) unit within a 25-bed Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards: 1:1 for laboring patients and 1:6 for postpartum
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating between units and across multiple facilities within the state is expected based on skill set and patient census needs
- Epic EMR; experience required
- No on-call required
- Scrubs in any color; scrubs are provided for the Maternal Child unit
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS and NRP required
- Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required; 2 years preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license required at time of consideration
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers may be asked to float to other units and to multiple facilities across the state, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact consideration
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront; requests made after placement may be denied
- No parking fee at this facility
