Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center in Hood River, OR, requiring NRP certification and at least 1 year of LDRP experience.
Details
- Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- Labor & Delivery unit with LDRP model (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum)
- AWHONN staffing standards apply: 1:1 ratio during labor, 1:6 during postpartum
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units and facilities within Oregon is expected based on skill set and census needs
- No on-call required
- Charting in Epic (required)
- 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Level III Trauma Center
- Teaching hospital environment
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required; 2 years preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs may be any color; scrubs are provided for Maternal Child units
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Oregon; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Possible float destinations include facilities in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Wilsonville, Seaside, and Portland (Saint Vincent)
- Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; RTO requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
