Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center in Hood River, OR, requiring NRP certification and at least 1 year of LDRP experience.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Labor & Delivery unit with LDRP model (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum)
• AWHONN staffing standards apply: 1:1 ratio during labor, 1:6 during postpartum
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units and facilities within Oregon is expected based on skill set and census needs
• No on-call required
• Charting in Epic (required)
• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Level III Trauma Center
• Teaching hospital environment
• No parking fee

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required; 2 years preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs may be any color; scrubs are provided for Maternal Child units
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Oregon; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Possible float destinations include facilities in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Wilsonville, Seaside, and Portland (Saint Vincent)
• Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; RTO requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
