Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome and weekend availability required.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
- X-Ray department with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures include surgery and fluoroscopy; O-arm use is required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- On-call required at a minimum of 1 shift per month
- No unit floating required, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience
- Hospital experience required, including surgical and fluoroscopy settings
- O-arm experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from this facility
- Scrubs in any color are accepted for this role
- RTO should be minimal; any time-off requests must be communicated upfront, as requests made after submission or offer may be denied
