Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III NICU night shift position in a 212-bed acute care hospital, requiring a CA RN license and at least 1 year of NICU specialty experience.
Details
- Level III NICU in a 212-bed acute care hospital with approximately 190 births per month
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00–06:30
- Every other weekend required, with the possibility of additional weekends to meet unit needs
- No floating to other units within this position
- No on-call required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Free parking available on-site
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of total RN experience, with at least 1 year in NICU
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must wear navy blue scrubs
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — post-offer RTO requests are subject to denial and any scheduling changes that conflict with the confirmed work order may result in contract termination
- Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be considered
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible but should be aware that a local pay rate may apply
