Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Orthopedics position requiring a minimum of 1 year of specialty experience, Epic proficiency, and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Work in an orthopedic unit within a hospital setting
• Floating to like units may be required based on census and demonstrated competencies
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on unit needs
• Omnicell medication dispensing system in use
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Active TN RN license or multistate compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an orthopedic unit
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• A copy of a valid driver's license and Social Security Number are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health facilities to be eligible for this position at the standard travel rate
• Night shift Ortho candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the contracted campus; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
