Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:7

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student education and clinical learning alongside their standard patient care duties
• 13-week contract
