Description
American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week contract at a hospital setting that floats between inpatient rehab and acute care.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit with floating responsibilities to the acute care unit
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–16:30)
- Every other weekend required: Saturday (8 hrs) and Sunday (4 hrs), with flex time off scheduled in advance with management
- No on-call requirements — all shifts are pre-scheduled
- Holiday coverage is optional at time and a half
- Charting performed in Cerner
Requirements
- Current, active OT license required; pending license accepted but must be in hand by start date — temp licensure is not accepted
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
- Prior hospital experience required
- Current BLS certification required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered provided they have prior hospital experience
- Local candidates are not accepted — must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Grey scrubs required
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
