Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent OR experience, including scrubbing, circulating, and robotic cases.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Cases include robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgery
• Requires both scrubbing and circulating
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call coverage required on nights and weekends
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) OR experience required prior to any travel assignments
• Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating required
• Experience with robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgery cases required
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing cases, performing accurate counts, and handling specimens
• Must be a collaborative team player within the OR environment
• Travelers at this health system are limited to 18 consecutive months and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
