Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Magnet-designated acute care teaching hospital in Florida, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) unit in a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 2 weekends per month required
• Floating required to all 3 affiliated hospitals (within approximately 20 miles)
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available
• Epic EMR is used for charting; experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 is required
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Current certifications required at time of consideration: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic EMR experience at a proficiency level of 3 or 4 required
• Two professional references required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
