Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Massachusetts, requiring telemetry experience, float readiness, and an active MA RN license in hand.
Details
- Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit setting
- Medical-surgical patient population with telemetry monitoring needs
- Floating required to any Med/Surg unit, up to every 4 hours
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- 16-week contract
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license, must be in hand prior to consideration
- Current certifications required and must be in hand: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
- 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Willingness and ability to float to any Med/Surg unit is a firm requirement
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended, and late requests may result in a rescinded offer
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
