Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment requiring telemetry experience, floating flexibility, and an active MA RN license in hand.

Details

• Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit setting
• Medical-surgical patient population with telemetry monitoring
• Floating required to any Med/Surg unit, up to every 4 hours
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience is highly preferred
• 16-week contract

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license, must be in hand at time of consideration — the facility will not pend licensure
• Current certifications required and must be in hand: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Strong willingness and ability to float to any Med/Surg unit
• 1 supervisory-signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required
• Must have personal vehicle for this assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care with telemetry monitoring across multiple units as needed
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended, and late requests may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
