Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Ohio, requiring 2 years of OR experience and strong scrub skills across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• 18-bed Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center
• Surgical specialties include General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant
• Primary focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week)
• Epic EMR used for patient charting

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Extensive scrub experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns is preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include both circulating and scrubbing roles during surgical procedures
• Works closely as part of the surgical team
• No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
