Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring at least 18 months of CVICU experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) at a major hospital campus
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts with day/night rotation (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)
• Shift preferences will be accommodated when possible, but rotation may be required to meet operational needs
• Holiday coverage required for at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the ICU specialty prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience required; travel experience counts toward this requirement
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
