Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week post-acute outpatient-focused assignment in Colorado, working four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday.

Details

• Primarily outpatient orthopedic setting with some inpatient acute coverage within the same hospital
• Patient population includes post-joint replacement, pain management, back conditions, post-fall, post-neuro, and some sports injuries
• Approximately 8–12 patients treated per day with 45-minute outpatient sessions and blocked time for inpatient evals and documentation
• Facility features a warm water therapy pool
• Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Occasional on-call weekend shifts may be required; no holiday coverage expected
• Epic EMR is used in this position
• Supported by a team of 3 PTAs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Active CO PT license required (license required if applicable); pending licenses will not be accepted
• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility, as verified by a valid driver's license
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• On-site orientation is approximately one week; clinicians must be in-state for the orientation week even if initial modules are completed remotely (12 orientation hours total)
• Training will be provided; no specific must-have skills beyond core PT competencies are required
• Scrubs or business casual attire are acceptable
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Travelers are expected to float within the assigned zone and are responsible for securing housing that supports this requirement
