Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week contract in a hospital radiology/ultrasound department, with a preference for vascular ultrasound experience.

• Hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department setting
• All patient age groups served
• Heavy volume of vascular ultrasound studies performed at this location
• Samsung ultrasound machines used
• Cerner EMR (experience preferred but not required)
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS certification required
• NH state license required if applicable — candidates without an NH license may apply for a temporary license while pursuing single-state licensure
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential is preferred but not required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
• 3 professional references required upon commitment, with at least 2 from leadership
