Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department position in Wisconsin, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
- Day shift hours are 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend (EOW) required, or based on department needs
- Holidays rotate with regular staff
- Floating may be required within skill set, including to sites within 40 miles of the primary facility
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, updated every 2 years
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of patient acuity levels in a fast-paced ED environment
- Local candidates are eligible to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
