Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Radiation Oncology (Rad Onc) travel nursing position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring active MA licensure and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work setting is a Radiation Oncology (Rad Onc) nursing clinical unit within a major academic hospital system in Boston, MA
- Day shift with staggered start times; core hours are 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Full-time, 40-hour per week schedule on a rotating basis
- One opening requires procedural experience; Brachytherapy experience preferred and Rad Onc experience preferred
- Second opening requires Rad Onc experience
- 13-week contract
- EMR: Epic (charting)
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross, CHSF, or Military certifications are not accepted at this location
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Rad Onc nursing experience required for one position; procedural experience required for the other
- Brachytherapy experience preferred for the procedural-focused position
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and will receive a reduced pay rate
- No on-site validated parking is available at Boston locations; public transportation and public parking lots are available (daily rates approximately $17–$22)
- Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
- RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
