Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a hospital-based outpatient clinic with a primary focus on orthopedic patients, including experience with geriatrics and sports medicine.

• Hospital-based outpatient clinic at a critical access facility
• Outpatient PT unit serving a diverse patient population with a primary focus on orthopedic conditions, including total joint replacements and sports-specific injuries
• Additional patient populations include vestibular, neurological, lymphedema, and more
• Specialty services available at the clinic include dry needling and pelvic health, though proficiency in these is not required
• Daily patient load of 8–12 patients per 8-hour day
• Productivity standard of 3.00 units/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No floating or weekend shifts required
• Epic used for charting; experience preferred but training provided during orientation
• Free parking available with badge access to parking garage

Requirements

• Active Michigan state PT license required prior to start date; compact licenses are not accepted in MI — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, and sports medicine required
• Vestibular experience preferred but not required
• Experience with neurological conditions preferred but not required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to provide proof of high school level education
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Pre-start orientation modules are required; modules vary by specialty
• Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application; a maximum of 5 days RTO is allowed per assignment
