Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience, working night shifts at a hospital campus in Kansas.
Details
- Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Floating to other units is required
- Some weekend shifts are required
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Previous travel nurses are encouraged to apply; check position details regarding first-time traveler eligibility
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted for this position
- Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
