Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in New Mexico, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and active NM or Compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 18:30–07:00 (4x12-hour shifts)
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Weekend availability required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Travel pairs or groups are not accepted — individual applicants only
- No RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation; no more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved for the duration of the assignment
