Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring at least 1 year of experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, and a NJ or compact RN license.

Details

PACU unit within a hospital setting
Patient population includes post-surgical cases spanning general surgery, orthopedics, ortho spine, and robotic procedures
Patient ratio of 1:4
Epic EMR used; experience preferred
3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, plus call requirements
13-week contract

Requirements

Active NJ or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 1 year of PACU or post-surgical nursing experience required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
RTO is limited to no more than 3 days auto-approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
