Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience for an acute care hospital position in New Jersey.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting
• Primarily geriatric patient population with diagnoses including post-op ACDF, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, and falls
• Utilizes Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) imaging equipment
• Epic EMR system; experience preferred
• Day shift, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 5x8-hour shifts
• One weekend shift required per month
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) certification required
• Valid, unrestricted New Jersey SLP license required prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
