Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience for an acute care hospital position in New Jersey.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting
- Primarily geriatric patient population with diagnoses including post-op ACDF, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, and falls
- Utilizes Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) imaging equipment
- Epic EMR system; experience preferred
- Day shift, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 5x8-hour shifts
- One weekend shift required per month
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Current BLS certification required
- Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) certification required
- Valid, unrestricted New Jersey SLP license required prior to consideration
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Travel experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
