Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a NICU position requiring prior travel experience, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.

Details

  • Inpatient NICU setting within an acute care hospital
  • Rotating day and night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
  • 13-week contract
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation); diploma, ASN, or BSN accepted
  • 2 professional references from supervisor level or above required for consideration
  • Must not have been employed by the health system within the previous 12 months

Additional Information

  • BSN is preferred but not required
  • This is a drug-free and tobacco-free campus; smoking is not permitted anywhere on facility grounds
  • The facility enforces a natural nail policy
  • Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests should be submitted in advance
  • NURSYS or applicable license verification will be required
