Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a NICU position requiring prior travel experience, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
Details
- Inpatient NICU setting within an acute care hospital
- Rotating day and night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
- 13-week contract
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation); diploma, ASN, or BSN accepted
- 2 professional references from supervisor level or above required for consideration
- Must not have been employed by the health system within the previous 12 months
Additional Information
- BSN is preferred but not required
- This is a drug-free and tobacco-free campus; smoking is not permitted anywhere on facility grounds
- The facility enforces a natural nail policy
- Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests should be submitted in advance
- NURSYS or applicable license verification will be required
