Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active LA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 7-room Operating Room at an acute care hospital setting
- Handles a caseload of 10–25 cases per day
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- 2 weekends required per 6-week schedule
- Green scrubs are provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active LA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- CVOR experience preferred but not required
- Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they have sufficient OR experience
- All BLS and other certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Upon accepting an assignment, you may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team during emergency events
- Candidates uncomfortable with potential emergency team assignments should not apply for this position
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- Locals and candidates residing within 65 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
