Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position on a secured, integrated medicine unit specializing in at-risk patients, with night shifts and a requirement for at least 2 years of RN experience.

Details

• Work on a 24-bed Integrated Medicine unit, a secured med/surg setting focused on at-risk patients
• Unit features enhanced safety measures including whole-unit video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and badge-secured entry
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 36 or 48 hours per week may be available and can be discussed during the interview process
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• At least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract are required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI Blue Card certification required (relevant to behavioral health components of this role)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in med/surg
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• 2 professional references required for consideration

• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for travel rates
