Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma children's hospital, requiring at least 1 year of travel nursing experience in a pediatric CICU setting.

• Position is located within the CVPICU (Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU) of a top-ranked children's hospital
• Facility is a Magnet-designated, academic teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center
• Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hrs/week (3x12s) or 48 hrs/week (4x12s)
• May float to the Cardiac Med/Surg floor to assist with patients as needed
• Charting is performed using Cerner
• Free parking available with a permit
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO and KS state RN licenses, or a Compact RN license, required — pending licensure is not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) — all must be active, pending certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a travel nurse is required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Pediatric CICU/CVPICU experience must be clearly documented in work history
• Critical care nursing background required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration

• Scrubs should be any kid-friendly color or pattern (RRT: any color; SPT: provided)
