Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring 1 year of IMC experience, Epic proficiency, and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Intermediate Care (IMC) unit in a hospital setting
• Uses Epic for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of IMC experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — must not expire prior to start date
• TNCC preferred
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
• Epic charting experience required
• English proficiency (read, write, speak) required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for IMC patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
