Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a trauma facility in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Details
- Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit (7 South) within a trauma hospital
- 13-week contract assignment
- EMR: Meditech (experience not required)
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
- No hits (past or current) on nursing license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Documents required for consideration: current driver's license, license verification via Nursys, skills checklist, and 2 professional references from within the last year
Additional Information
- A Cardiac Exam will be required upon offer acceptance
- No HealthStream modules required prior to start — competency-based modules will be completed during virtual orientation
- Timekeeping system: Centricity
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rates with no radius restrictions
