American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department Short Stay Unit position in Albany, NY, requiring 2 years of ED experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

• Position is in a hospital-based Emergency Department Short Stay Unit
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in emergency department/ED setting
• Epic EMR experience required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• Current BLS and all certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Valid US Social Security Number required — Canadian SIN not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional will be accepted — personal or religious exemptions are not permitted

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington — local candidates from these counties are not eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• No blocked scheduling
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; makeup shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
