Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a major Atlanta hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Work setting is a high-volume hospital operating room environment
• Surgical specialties include robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and GYN, among others
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Broad surgical case experience required, including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and GYN
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff who wish to return as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment before being considered
• All time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• References are not required at time of consideration but will be needed during the compliance process
