Description

American Traveler is hiring an EP Technologist with Cath Lab experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least one completed prior travel assignment.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center
• Electrophysiology Lab unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required on some occasions
• Weekend work required as needed
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of EP Tech experience required; 3+ years preferred
• EP Tech experience with Cath Lab background required
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Active license required — license required if applicable; no pending licensure accepted, and all travelers must be in compliance with NLC guidelines
• Current BLS required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront

Additional Information

• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Vaccination status required for consideration
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur on a rare basis
