Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and at least one completed prior travel assignment.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required on some basis
• Weekend work required as needed
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Block scheduling is not available for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Active license in compliance with NLC guidelines required — pending licensure is not accepted; license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment; first-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Level I Trauma Center work environment
• If end-of-year holidays fall within the assignment, traveler must be willing to work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall during the assignment, or at least 1 if only 2 holidays fall during the assignment
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration; RTO not listed upfront will not be approved
• Vaccination status will be required as part of the hiring process
