Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in a hospital surgical unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and a weekend-only schedule.
Details
- Work in a hospital surgical/operating room unit
- 12-hour day shifts scheduled Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- 100% credentialing must be completed prior to the start date — no conditional starts or exceptions are permitted
