Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 1+ year of experience and active PT licensure.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds at a Level II Trauma Center
- PT Acute Care unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are eligible to apply for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Solid navy blue scrubs required for licensed personnel; print tops are not acceptable
- Free surface parking is available in designated Employee/Visitor Parking lots
- RTO should be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
