Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Oregon Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at a remote, rural hospital working four 10-hour shifts per week, Tuesday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in physical therapy from an AAPTA-accredited program required
• Active Oregon Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
• Current CPR certification required
• Valid Oregon driver's license required
• Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required
• Basic computer proficiency including email, completing forms, and locating/opening documents
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and providing treatment per physician referral for patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries
• Treatment modalities may include exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, or sound
• Collaborates with patients' families and healthcare team members regarding patient abilities and goals
• This facility is remotely located — the nearest international airport is in Reno, NV, approximately 3.5–4 hours away; candidates may also fly into Medford, OR, approximately 3 hours away
• Candidates should be fully committed to the position given the remote nature of the location
• Experience is desired but not required if all other qualifications are met
