Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Echocardiography for a 13-week travel contract in a cardiovascular laboratory setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.
Details
- Position is located in a cardiovascular laboratory
- Both echocardiography and vascular experience are needed for this role
- 8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references dated within the last 12 months
- Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months
Additional Information
- Orientation is held every Monday and includes Epic EMR training during the second half of the day, with the opportunity to test out; candidates who do not pass will be required to complete full Epic training before being released to the unit
- Local candidates are accepted, except for those with a permanent address in Tallahassee
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
- Work history gaps exceeding 30 days must be accompanied by an explanation
