Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic charting proficiency, and on-call availability including weekends.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Every 4th weekend required
- Call is rotated approximately every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend; Saturday call may include up to 6 hours of work for scheduled inpatient procedures
- EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Candidates must reside outside of the following TX counties to be eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and will not be approved during the first week of orientation
