Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a LTAC ICU position requiring at least 1 year of Epic EMR experience and SC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting within a hospital system
• 12-bed ICU unit; staff may also work in the adjoining 31-bed Med-Surg unit based on census needs
• Patient population includes adults (18+) requiring vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury management, and trach/PEG care
• Omnicell medication dispensing system used on unit
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on unit need
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census; float assignments will align with demonstrated competencies

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent LTAC ICU or equivalent specialty experience
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered depending on relevant specialty experience
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the Prisma Greenville flagship hospital to be eligible for this ICU position; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
• Two professional references are required for consideration
