Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Transplant IMC (Intermediate Care) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of IMC experience and prior transplant experience, working night shifts.

Details

• Work in a hospital Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) serving adult and geriatric patients
• Patient population includes post-operative vascular, kidney, and liver transplant patients
• Responsibilities include hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments, surgical site monitoring, graft function evaluation, lab and urine output monitoring, and administration of immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, and IV therapies
• 27-bed unit
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every third weekend required
• Floating required within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Maryland (MD) or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of IMC experience required — strictly enforced
• Prior transplant nursing experience required
• First-time travelers with qualifying experience are welcome to apply

• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
