Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist (RCIS Scrub Tech with LVO) with IR and Cath Lab experience, including coiling and embolization procedures.

Details

Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
4x10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a rotating day off
On-call shifts are required
Procedures include coiling, embolization, and large vessel occlusion (LVO) interventions

Requirements

Current RT(R) certification and/or RCIS credential required
IR and Cath Lab experience required
Experience with coiling and embolization procedures required
LVO experience required
License required if applicable
Current BLS required

Additional Information

Candidates residing within 90 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
13-week contract

Easy case load, hardly any traumas. Most cases out by 3-4.

Cons

Took a while for people to trust you. Some still don’t and I doubt they ever will. Only one permanent staffer for days.
