Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float Pool position at a major academic medical center in Ohio, requiring telemetry skills and Epic experience on night shifts.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool position within a large academic medical center
• May float to any stepdown or PCU area, including other campuses (Ross Heart, Brain & Spine, and Dodd)
• Floating may include units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Telemetry monitoring required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Position is part of a float pool with potential to rotate across multiple hospital campuses
• No break required between assignments when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
